- 1 tsp. (or to taste) of Great American Steak & Meat Seasoning
- 1 lb. ground chuck (80/20)
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 lb. bacon, cut in half for a shorter length
- 1-16 oz. bottle Claude’s Western Style BBQ Sauce
- ¼ cup grape jelly (optional, if you want a sweeter sauce)
In a medium bowl, combine ground chuck, Great American Steak and Meat Seasoning, egg and bread crumbs until combined. Roll out meat mixture into 1” balls, approximately 2 tbsp. each.
Wrap each meatball with a short strip of bacon. Secure bacon onto meatball with a toothpick or skewer meatball and place on a tray. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill, at least 1 hour.
Clean and oil the grilling grate and preheat the grill for direct cooking over medium heat 350-450 degrees. Place the meatballs on the preheated grill and close the lid. Cook 12-15 minutes, turning the meatballs 2 to 3 times while cooking.
Grill them until well browned all over and the meatball is cooked through. Meanwhile mix Claude's Western Style BBQ Sauce and grape jelly. The last minute of cooking brush on sauce/grape jelly mixture. Enjoy!!
